A tidbit about Mr. Komorek

Hello families and welcome to the 2018-2019 school year.  I am truly excited to have your child join me for this upcoming year.  The 2018-2019 school year marks my 11th year of teaching in total and my eighth year teaching fourth grade.  Besides teaching, my passions include cooking, hiking, being active outdoors, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with my wife and two girls.  I am a Concord resident and have resided in Concord for 12 years.  Prior to my teaching career, I grew up in Upstate New York in a very small rural town, closer to the Canadian border than any major U.S. city.  I spent four years at SUNY Plattsburgh for my undergrad.  After college I moved to Keene, NH and began working at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.  I worked at BB&B for four years before growing tired of the retail lifestyle.  It was then I made the decision to get back into teaching and become a certified NH educator.  From then on, I've been teaching at Broken Ground.
